Then I think the plan they are going with is probably the best one after all. It doesn't really matter that the Bronx and Brooklyn "D" trains don't directly connect, since the pairing of the lines into one service is only for operational convenience. Nobody (or almost nobody) actually rides between the Grand Concourse and New Utrecht Ave. |
