Never argue with the omnipotent one ... he's a wizard. :)CSX didn't want to spend a penny and when the line got washed out by the hurricanes, CSX figured why not stick the taxpayer with the repair bills. Also takes them off the hook for the liability of rebuilding the line to high speed since they use the west side of the Hudson for traffic anyway and the occasional boxcar run down to meatball land ain't worth the expense of maintaining that track. CSX made out like a bandit, deal made by their former CEO Treasury Secretary John Snow during the previous administration. |
