You have to turn the whole train though... there's an order to things, the same end of each car always points towards the engine and away from the cab car... if you have a cab car on both ends and a wye to move the engine, this order is destroyed, and you will eventually end up with trains with cars pointing the wrong way. NJT does not allow this to happen, but MBTA does get lazy and you often get the A ends coupled to each other. |
