The grade crossing at Broadway and myrtle will need to be eliminated.No, just extend it the other way. No need to "eliminate the grade crossing". While the local trackways would have to be realigned for about 70 feet, it's not the end of the world. In 1915 the whole el was realigned, all with service running and 1910's technology no less. |
