My great uncle's 1954 pocket map of Brooklyn still showed the Myrtle Ave el going to Park Row. and my 1972 hagstrom's map of the 5 boroughs still showed the Bridge-Jay station of the Myrtle Ave el on the downtown Brooklyn page. I'm sure that others here have plenty of examples of maps with abandoned trolleys and els still showing. |
