Plus, is it REALLY necessary?Yes, it would be nice to have that done, but it would simply be too costly. It needs to be remembered that 53rd/Lex was a much different area back when the station was built (the CitiGroup Center didn't open until 1977, the Lipstick Building until 1986 and many other buildings there now were not until the 1960's). |
