The worker loses 2 days pay. He loses pay for the day/s he's not at work and then gets fined a days pay on top of that for a total of 2 days pay. 3 days out equals at net loss of 6 days pay. From Wikipedia ( because I'm too lazy to read the whole law) One of the most controversial parts of the Taylor Law is Section 210, which prohibits New York state public employees from striking, compelling binding PERB arbitration in the event of an impasse in negotiations. The fine for striking is an additional day of pay for each day of a strike, totaling two days' loss for each strike day. |
