Bill: The first issue of the Metro-North Port Jervis Line Timetable was issued on October 21, 1984. It contained schedules for the Port Jervis Line only. If you called Metro-North for a Pascack Valley Line Timetable they simply sent you the NJT one.Beginning with the timetable issued on October 31, 1999 the Port Jervis Line Timetable was expanded to contain the Pascack Valley Line as well and this continued until the issue dated August 14, 2011. Then of course came Hurricane Irene and the subsequent suspension of service between Harriman and Suffern. Finally on November 6 MN issued a timetable for the Port Jervis Line that includes both the bus and train service. This schedule was dated November 6 through November 27, 2011. A separate time table was issued by MN for the Pascack Valley Line dated November 6, 2011. These two timetables were issued concurrently with all the NJT schedules on that date. A new timetable was issued for the resumption of through train service. It is dated November 28, 2011 through January 14, 2012. IT once again combines the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Lines into a single form. So the November 6, 2011 timetable for the Pascack Valley Line only will be something of a collectors item.
