Because of the curve? Malbone Street notwithstanding, the curve is not that bad and it was in continual use from the time it was opened in 1918 until (IIRC) 1959, when the crossover was built. Even then, it still saw regular passenger service for a few more years when Brighton Locals operated it on Saturdays. |
