Nah, 300' would be sufficient, enough for a 5-car 160 or 4-car hippo, which can be easily attained by cutting a full-length train. But 150' is just ridiculous. In about 20 years, when it's time to replace the Hippos, MTA will have to order 4 75' 2-car sets (even if the rest of the Hippo replacement order is 60'). Or maybe they'll just use that excuse to close the Frankie for good. :[ |
