KNOWN NECROPOSTWhy would they build an express station just for MSG? They built a local station for Yankee Stadium. Not to mention that in 1932, pro basketball had not yet started at MSG and hockey was new. The biggest events at MSG were boxing and (IINM) the circus. These bring lots of people in short bursts but not on a regular basis enough to justify express trains stopping all the time. |
