There is a sidewalk to be seen on (I think) one side of Rt 7 in two of the pictures.The pictures that show them are on the north side, There are sidewalk on both sides of VA-7 Leesburg Pike now. Prior to the lane relocating to accommodate the metrorail easement in the median there were none. Here are couple showing the sidewalk on the south side:  Post-tension segments staged along Leesburg Pike between Gosnell Road / Westpark Drive and Spring Hill Road  West end of Tyson West (Spring Hill Road) station Added bonus, sidewalk along the south side of VA-123 Dolley Madison Boulevard:  VA-267 Dulles Connector Road / Anderson Road and VA-123 Dolley Madison Boulevard Prior to the beginning of construction I believe there was a sidewalk on the north side VA-123 Dolley Madison Boulevard between Anderson Road and Capitol One Drive.
