Yeah, I just noticed that one or more of the stations was in a median. The Wiehle one I guess. Many people in LA (including transit advocates) want to build more rail inside freeways, but that's a terrible idea from my experience. The stations are unacceptably loud and when you exit it's a long walk to get anywhere. Especially next to suburban freeways.And I feel the same way about the gold line extension to Tucson, or wherever the latest endpoint is. I barely pay any attention to it but I try and stay up on every new development for Expo and Crenshaw. |
