I don't recall the R-27/30s or any of the other pre R-40 SMEEs having DD among the displays. What did surprise me is that the signs did carry C/8 Ave Express signs along with CC signs , BB/6 Ave Local signs but no B for the proposed Chrystie service. As usual, the short sighted TA failed to provide sufficient readings for all possible route combinations. The R-27s through 38s should have had single and double letter readings for ALL the routes expected to be equipped with those cars. |
