Bill, the TA will not sell the R-32s to Nigeria - this is true but that only means that NYCT will be giving the cars away rather than reefing them as a cost-saving measure. The Nigerian National Railway will apparently have to buy them (as stated in the original post) from the New York State company modifying them to be pulled by diesel locomotives. Of course, weinberg, in his exuberance to prove someone wrong, overlooked this point. |
