That's the same math that I have.And yes, the outright "conversion" of R-142A's to R-188's was forsaken to cut projected costs even more, but they will be equipped with CBTC THROUGH the R-188 Contract. I am not sure if that means there will be some kind of re-classification as a result (say an R-142C?). It's all a sign of the times, but bottom line is I wouldn't be waiting for that first R-62A train at Pelham Bay Park or Flatbush Ave. anytime soon. Regards, George Chiasson Jr. (Widecab5@aol.com) |
