There is no reason why both can't have continuing numbering. Like on the Pennsylvania Turnpike after I-76 branches off. Both I-76 and the I-276 continuation of the Turnpike continue the number from the Ohio border.The only thing we disagree with here is whether the exits should be based on the nearest milepost or the nearest milepost+26. |
