The rules were in place since day one. Just because an escalator is out of service (I won't even deal with telescoping trains, it rarely happens and you know it) doesn't entitle you to the right to eat or drink on the train. That is part of the reason the ban should be left in place as is, if you give the riders an inch they will try to take a mile. |
