This policy applies to ALL modes - the 2.5 hr journey actually, for me, involves bus journeys and such. I think food was always "unofficially permitted" on the Regional Rail, but just not on the transit division.Besides, WMATA may be a subway, but the journey through the system can be quite long, especially if you have to transfer to another line, and then have a bus connection afterwards. |
