Last year, Dr. Gridlock did an informal survey of cars and found the 1000s often had the coolest temps. The 5000s were the worst IIRC.That's because WMATA began a program to replace the HVAC equipment in all the 1k cars a few years ago. John in the sand box of Maryland's eastern shore. |
