I am absolutely sure about the false walls and what was there before, namely no stairs or anything other than another angled wall.Some of the original street exits at the 23 St end may have been reconfigured with the construction of the Citibank building and G connection, especially with the addition of escalators to and from the street. But the stairs from the platforms to the mezzanine are original and have not changed, and none have been covered up or removed. |
