Among the stations mentioned, nobody has yet made reference to Utica upper on the IND which contains both an intermediate and an upper mezzanine and a full station shell for the Utica/Stuyvesant subway which would have eventually made its way to the So 4 St station complex. Also there is a now closed north mezzanine on the upper level at Nostrand Av/Fulton which, when open, allowed for a transfer between the N/B and S/B sides and which would also have provided a connection to the proposed Bedford Av subway about which less seems to be known that any other part of the IND Second System. |
