That's a very tight curve on the citybound side. Very unprotected as well. I've negotiated it twice - once on R40 slants and once on R143's. I believe 8 MPH is the prudent speed there. The Canarsie-bound turnout isn't anywhere near as severe. It's kind of neat watching the train roar out of the connection from the fork in the upper-level platform.wayne |
