Looking northward and southward respectively next to the station building on the old platform, just waiting for a nice shiny passenger train bearing the NYC logos and heralds that sadly will NEVER comeMost of the varnish in the latter days of NYC passenger service was hauled by Alco RS-3s. That included the Weehawken-Albany train. But imagine a Tappan-Zee rail crossing and a connecting track in Orangeburg . . . could have P32AC-DMs and Shoreliners at least . . . |
