The first import step in the implementation of the grant happened last week with the City of Kingston posting the Request for Proposals for engineering services for the project. The project total is actually going to be close to $860,000 with the state match added in.Reading this might make your eyes glaze over, but here's the RFP document: http://www.tmny.org/TMNY_RFP_railconsulting.pdf. There will be another RFP later in the year for the actual construction portion. I want to emphasize this is strictly a capital grant. A total of $0.00 from the project goes to the TMNY budget.
