I don't see this happening because NYCT is crying poverty financially.This Bay Pky. thing is just another railfan fantasy. Is the D that overcrowded south of 36th/4th? If it is, I mentioned that in my opposition to the M reroute in the first place. You are not having it both ways: the M got rerouted at the expense of south Brooklyn. I am not interested in having another discourse of the M being more useful via Sixth Ave. The point is in today's climate if one improvement comes, there is a loss somewhere else, which is exactly what has happened. |
