The simple answer would be "YES" but not for the reasons that you might assume. It's been planned for some time to re-configure the fleet maintenance of the B division. One of the key components of that plan would be the closing of 207th St "Maintenance Shop" as a B division facility and transfer responsibility of that fleet to Pitkin Shop. Thus 207th St would either:1) Remain a satellite facility of Pitkin Shop 2) Become the maintenance facility for the #1 line and 240th St shop would be closed. 3) Become a northern work train maintenance facility As for the rest, I would rather discuss via e-mail. 2) |
