The BMT crews did not find the R9's all that strange when they got reassigned to ENY in 1968. They also had Standards running on the Bway Local to Forest Hills from 1958 until the R27's invaded. Some Standards got Forest Hills , Smith 9th, and GG Crosstown Local signs splixed into their mylar just in case Jamaica Yard needed to press one into GG service.. I believe I remember seeing stop markers on the IND such as 6R, 6, 8R, 8, etc. |
