Yes, that is what I understood before I became confused. ChrisR16 had pointed me to pictures of the trestle on Arrt's Archives. Go to Central Page 5, WW II to Present, and scroll down to the last two photos. That is the bridge overpass that I saw today. I didn't see the concrete supports but I didn't get a very good look at it (as I was going about 55 mph at the time) and the bridge overpass is now in a wooded area. The supports may be there in poor condition or maybe they were carted away, who knows. |
