If you are only comfortable driving 55 MPH there and/or want to obey the speed limit, there's no reason you can't drive 55 MPH, AS LONG AS YOU DO IT IN THE RIGHT-MOST LANE. Screw everyone else who wants to speed. You have every right to follow the law as long as you do it courteously, i.e. in the right-most lane. So you simply caved to peer pressure. But you certainly didn't HAVE to. It was your choice. Nothing bad would have necessarily happened to you if you chose to drive 55 MPH in the right-most lane. |
