Highly doubtful since the portion of the Fulton St El between Hinsdale and Grant had not been rebuilt to dual contract standards and could not support anything heavier than a Multi and I don't think the city at that point would have wanted to rebuild any el structures. I would imagine if that portion had been rebuilt under the dual contracts, then the IND would have connected it up at that point to save on construction costs. |
