Geez, I hate to step into this.I have before me a blue print. Yes, indeedy, white ink on blue paper. It is from the Board of Transportation, New York City Transit System, IND Div., Engineering Bureau, DWG A8-3W-A, for contact rail indicator 35-A8-F-G.AV-Z dated 9-19-47. Contract is S-44 & S-45, Fulton St., Line A. Signed by Mr. Reid, Engineer, Line Equipment. It is for Relay Case A8-3Z, but we (I) liberated it from the home signal case at that location. It is in good condition, considering what it could have been exposed to. Final note: signed off as "A" Original on 1-28-49, at stationing 2+90. Oh, and on the drawing A8 is designated "east bound," not that that really matters |
