Go for it ... I'm with Randy and tunnelrat on this one ... I've heard exactly the same from oldheads with the IND that I talked to back in 1970 and 71 and heard *exactly* the same things. And from people I know weren't screwing with my head about any of it. And yes, the yard leads were used for storing cars that weren't going to see revenue for a while. I even remember seeing some work equipment in really bad shape out there.Only thing I'm waiting to hear is signs of a mound in the roadbed containing either Judge Crater or Jimmy Hoffa. :) |
