It may have been on the grid and was required to be included when that plot of land was developed in the 50's. That entire area was pretty undeveloped until after the war.There are houses fronting on it. I doubt the roadway ever left the City map, even if it was a paper street for several years. There's another six-block stretch of Old South Road farther east, between South Conduit Avenue and 130th Street. West of that, the former route is now the Belt Parkway. View Larger Map |
