I agree. That street was included when the land was developed and the homes were built there.

This also brings up another interesting fact: Any subway under Pitkin Ave built into Queens in the 1930's might NOT line up with the current street grid. Have we been looking in the wrong place the entire time? Maybe the station is at 76th and Old South Road?
