I would think that the sewers would have been above the subway at that point since the topography that is shown for the proposed construction of the area seems to indicate that 76 S station would have been deeper than Euclid since the A7 and A8 yard leads would rise above the mainline infrastructure to access Pitkin Yd. The Pitkin Av "mainline" also dips below both the leads to Grant Av station as well as underneath the K3-4 and K5 yard leads that does put 76 St station pretty deep and probably below any sewer work in the area. Also someone posted on this p forum a few years ago that his father had observed what appeared to be major street construction in the area of Conduit Blvd in the late 1940s and while this may not necessarily have any relation to actual subway construction, it may indicate that any sewer work done in the area may have been done at that time rather than at a later date.
