I can't miss three days of work and still pay the bills. I had it this past February, and it took me three days to get out of it, and I wasn't even called on a case! The first day we sat there the whole day, and then about 3:00, they call us into a chambers, and the judge explains everything, and says we have to come back tomorrow. We come back the next day, and they talk to half of us. Day three, I finally was able to get out of it. THREE DAYS, and would have been more if I got called on the case! I can't afford that. |
