And all you get in return is the stupid "9-11 form letter" that tries to justify the cop's actions. "In these times...bullshit..bullshit..and more bullshit..."OTOH confrontations that led to arrests have led to court orders and consent agreements against police departments. Photographers who play nice have lost valuable photo shoot opportunities but those who fight back have won real money and guarantees! Railfans are not the only ones being harassed. Just look at what happened to the Daily News reporter who tried to file a report about yesterday's airport delays. He went to file a complaint with the Port Authority and was told that they would confiscate his press credentials if he complained. The Daily News and the National Press Photographers Association are FUMING mad and are going to go to court over this! |
