You mean these?What do you expect them to do? They're not going to be able to move any more snow than the rotary snowplows NYCT already has. Using them for their heat would be useless because like all turbine engines its concentrated in a tiny area behind the engine. And then you're relying on the track's questionable drainage system to remove the melted snow. Given the fact that the Brighton line does flood during extreme rain fall then melting the snow on all four tracks would likely make a bad situation worse. |
