BTW, did'nt some of the IRT equiptment get rebuilt with the green paint??Yes, a few R33s assigned to Jerome got the green treatment. I don't know how many cars, but I think it was just one ten-car train. In those days I was enjoying riding the #4 line as it had the green R33s and at least 2 trains of R36 (I think Flushing and ML) and of course those awesome brand new R-62s. |
