It's not an exclusive benefit of CBTC; it's that CBTC is the technology currently most capable ofimproving on it. I never said that CBTC has an exclusive lock on being the only technology which can replace relays. as usual, you ignore what you don't want to hear. We were talking about (or at least I think we were talking about) CBTC vs other signal technologies, including wayside block and ASC. Now, will you agree that in that context, CBTC does not have any special advantage in terms of reducing relays? If not, please elborate. If you want to be taken seriously about this stuff, you have to post like an adult. If you like, we can have a subchat poll on whose posts are more childish. You claim to have some inside knowledge of what the vendor is doing and presumably that would shed some light on this debate. Show your cards, or just forget about it. Doesn't matter to me. This isn't a contest and I'm not going to win any prizes. |
