A literal reading agrees with their asinine interpretation.

No it doesn't. She said they gave space to the rioters. She didn't say that they wanted to or meant to give space to the rioters. Their interpretation is that giving space to the rioters was done in order to facilitate rioting.

More celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Great Riots of the '60s.

I say that because advocacy of "non-violence" in some quarters started to move toward "By Any Means Necessary."

The [good or bad, depending on your POV] violence didn't work either. Unless you actually overthrow the government, violence is more likely to lead to your own death or long incarceration.

Ray Ray is so 70's. Neequan is more appropriate and if that name has not been used, I urge members of the subchat.com community to go ahead and use it because I swear I just thought of it myself.

So anyway, in Baltimore, this guy died of spinal injuries so I'm guessing he got into a fight with cops. I'm sure the cops didn't just beat him up for fun, but who knows?
