This article shows that this isn't a matter of HIV infection rates growing among black Americans, but rather those rates having fallen much more sharply among whites. This article also shows that rates of unprotected sex and unprotected casual sex are lower among black men who have sex with men than white men who have sex with men. However, these rates are probably self-reported, and it has long been thought that there is more pressure for black men to not acknowledge being gay or bisexual, so perhaps these numbers are not the complete story.Some suggestions as to why this is are: • Insufficient sex education in the South where a large percentage of black Americans live, causing people to not regularly be tested for HIV. Apparently the HIV crisis is worse in the South than anywhere else in the country. • Higher rates of poverty among black Americans, meaning that fewer black Americans are receive STD testing or treatment. |

You have no need whatsoever to know.I don't really care about shaming people that are fit, they should be left alone. As should larger women. Many times it's not a resultof anything beyond genetics. I do have issues with the media constantly haranguing women about some variety of body image like being a supermodel. There are about twelve supermodels on earth at any given time. The rest of us should be left alone to not be that. But it pales quickly compared to having rights rescinded and losing the opportunity that full real self determination can bring. |
