Feh ... up here in Albany county, you can take a tank home as long as you promise to keep the turret pointed at the capitol when not in use or cleaning the bore. :) |

If the thug that broke in doesn't get it...or you first. Maybe. If it doesn't jam.But it's more likely to cause an accident in the home than protect against a break-in. |

If you do not want a gun in your home, then you shouldn't have one. Of course not everyone here had the ability to run 150 north of the city to feel safer. |

Why are you so in to trying to impose your will on everyone else? If you don't want a shotgun then no one will force you to have one. If I want one, what concern is it of yours? |

An untrained, incompetent shooter COULD cause harm to me. Bullets do not observe property lines. There needs to be a basic competency course mandatory before anyone can get a gun...during which all back ground checks could be handled thoroughly. After all, one has to prove basic competency with a motor vehicle in order to drive on PUBLIC roads. One has to be trained and continually practice the skills involved in using a gun. Guns need to be maintained. Most owners do none of this. |

They are a fine weapon for defense of your home. But every household should decide for themselves if they want to own one. Household no more "should" have a shotgun than a car or a TV or an air conditioner or an espresso machine. |

Mine is nine and when people see him in the park they don't believe it. He's very active, alert and energetic. He does have some arthritis in his hips especially during the cold months. His breeder was great and she only bread champion line stud dogs from Germany and Europe. She had all his lines AKC registered and I have the papers. My dog is more European with less angles and doesn't have the exaggerated sloped backs like American lines. He also is very aggressive with strong hunting and prey drive unlike American lines do. |

Actually, I'm quite proficient with pistols or rifles. But even if I were not, that's a matter for the authorities to deal with. Why is it of concern to you? |
