Not very classy, was he. Typical of the type that created the Great Society, I suppose.

Incidentally, Lady Bird's real name was Claudia Alta Taylor Johnson.

In the book "In the Presidents Secret Service" the Johnson stories were the funniest. A real character!

Apparently, Lyndon Baines called her "Bird" just about all of the time. That makes it sound like he mistook her for Charlie Parker.
