I didn't even tell my family. It was a spur of the moment thing after his interview with the Consul General of Israel about the Olympics refusing to have a moment of silence for the 1972 murder of the Israeli Athletes. The Consul General was talking about all the protests for the moment of silence and ended the interview with "we shall prevail". My comment to the Governor (the guest left unfortunately) was if they do prevail and the Olympic Committee does have a moment, it would obviously be insincere due to the pressure, so why should we and Israel care, being it is too late.They usually post podcasts on their website the next day. |

Went to see if I could bag it for you, but no go. Normally podcasts are MP3 files which can be downloaded. In WOR's case, they're using Adobe Flash and it's a protected stream with DRM. Therefore, not even a temporary file that can brab the data that they're sending UNLESS you can open up the volume control in your (I assume) Windows, go to the mixer and see if you can record from "Line IN" to a file on your end.About the only other thing you can do is mic and cassette recorder. I hate when they call something a "podcast" when it really isn't. :( |

Thanks, if you can't do it no one can. I aimed my IPhone at my laptop while the podcast was playing and shot a movie. The sound wasn't as clear as the podcast but at least I did have it saved. |

Glad to hear you managed to bag it somehow. Personally I think it kinda sucks that they claim it to be a "podcast" given that the intent of podcasts is to download now, listen later. :(Adobe Flash is intended to not allow you to save a recording, that's why it's popular with the MPAA and RIAA since neither Windows nor Apple will allow you to grab a copy. KNOS can do it, but not with streams that don't buffer the data to the local machine. I really thought we had a shot at bagging it, but no such luck. Hopefully you saw why I like Dave so much. :) |

We're working on it! Full HTML5 support in KNOS, including the more exotic codecs. Only reason why there's Flash at all is because there's so many idiots claiming to be webmasters still living in the 90's out there. :( |
