KFC doesn't really fry their chicken; they pressure-cook it.If I'm really craving the stuff, I just grab the fried stuff next to the rotisserie chicken in the supermarket. I usually pile on the hot sauce anyway . . . (which reminds me of my other favorite, the half-chicken/fried rice special at the Chinese take-out restaurant). |

KFC doesn't really fry their chicken; they pressure-cook it.Have you ever had "Broasted® Chicken?" I think it's a pressure-cooked chicken. It's "different." It's a patented process, and sometimes I like it. Anyone have Pudgie's? Or Flavor Crisp? The latter is a licensed batter, they put it on deep-fried vegetables and potato wedges, as well as chicken. |
