fiogf49gjkf0d So the lockout is over and soon the company will be telling New Yorkers how such a great asset their employees are. The company ads were bogus as to management wanting notice for a strike because the company brags they are ready for anything that arises at a moments notice. So those 5,000 supervisors would be ready when 8,000 hourlies walk out.
That company is real scumbag outfit to work for.
Finally I had to laugh at a company statement I read today: a spokesman said that the company had seen fewer injuries during the 3 1/2 week period than in the same stretch a year ago. 12 injuries during the lockout compared to 29 in the same period last year. Hello. This year you only did emergency work since the lockout began, no special work/improvement work has been done, so naturally the stats are going to work in Con Ed's favor.
Sound like some other outfit I've heard of!
