That's a justifiable conclusion, though if you were a reporter you'd best wait until something verified such. The difference here is that a journalist jumped to a conclusion not due to personal experiences with covering violent acts, but because of personal prejudices which defy reality. If there had been dozens of Tea Party related shootings in the previous 3 years, Ross's actions might have been more forgivable. |
