Posted by JayZeeBMT on Mon Jul 16 15:36:48 2012 Trayvon Martin's admittede killer, George Zimmerman, may also be a pedophile, according to accusations released today by the Florida State Attorney's Office. In a recording of a March 20 interview with investigators, a woman, identified as "Witness #9", told cops Zimmerman began molesting her at age six, and she only felt "safe" from him after the accused murderer went into hiding following his delayed arrest for shooting Martin to death. Amomg the things she accused Zimmerman of doing in her graphic testimony, was "making her look at and rub [his] penis", and "penetrating her vagina with his fingers".The witness, a close family friend of the Zimmermans, also portrayed the defendant and his family as "boastfully racist". The woman is the second person in the past week to describe the Zimmermans as vociferously bigoted. "I was afraid [Zimmerman] might have done something because the kid was black," investigators quoted her as saying about the Martin killing. This is the kind of person some people here are rabidly defending. SMH. |

He had to know this was going to come to light, eventually.What you say about this woman's credibility and motives is interesting, given that almost everyone accused of pedophilia is automatically presumed guilty, because of the nature of the allegations. This is a BIG reason Jerry Sandusky went from arrest to trial to conviction in just 7 months--that's lightspeed in the criminal justice system, especially for a case with so many felony charges--with no physical evidence at all. Some of the charges against Sandusky didn't even state a time or date of offense--merely that an assault had occurred at some time in the past. The state's entire case was built on (uncorroborated) witness testimony. (I'm not saying Sandusky was innocent, just that he was handled according to the nature of the charges against him. There are people accused of murder who wait years for a trial.) Why, then is this witness' accusation suddenly "suspect" to you? Because you are sympathetic to the defendant? |

Beyond that, the prosecution is not permitted to bring character evidence against a defendant unless the defendant testifies as to his own character. The defendant is, of course, not required to testify. |

I eagerly await your evidence of this claim, as well as your continued assertions that Zimmerman was "defending himself" against an "attack" by an unarmed Martin. Even the first investigator that spoke to Zimmerman on the night of the shooting didn't buy Zimmerman's story. Oh, and he was, again, specifically told by the 911 operator not to follow, approach, or accost Trayvon Martin.This witness, BTW, as the article in my OP points out, is not the first person to describe Zimmerman and his family as bigots. She was a family friend, and as such, had the opportunity to observe the Zimmermans at close hand for years. |

Why should this woman be any different? |
